Berlin: Neni

O happy days: former West-Berlin has a new hot spot, and it’s called Bikini Berlin, a concept mall with many nice-looking international pop-up shops in a great building. Go there, we’d say. To shop, and even more so to visit the next-door 25hours hotel, with its rooftop Monkey Bar and its restaurant, Neni. That’s where we had lunch the other day, overlooking Zoo Berlin and the monkeys, but also with a great view over the rest of the city. Inside, they have a glass house where they grow their own herbs . Neni serves Mediterranean food the way we love it, offering plates to share. Together with the people you’re having lunch with, you choose various platters to eat from. There are Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Arabic dishes, and even German and Austrian ones, so take the “Mediterranean” label not too seriously. And Neni offers incredible wines…! So because of all this, the special three-course lunch menu, the great drinks, the lovely bread, Neni is about to become one of our new favorite addresses in town.

Neni Berlin
